The latest tool against terrorism in airport security are the “whole body scan” devices that can pretty much do as advertised. The result is a very clear depiction of what you look like under your clothes. The results are so detailed that in fact, one can reverse the image to get a very very revealing image of your body sans underwear!! Here is an example: of a woman with a hidden knife. The scans are of course controversial, but what makes me worried is who is manning the scanner that day!! Just imagining this creeps me out to no end.
Of course, the upside is that all women’s tatas will be standing at attention due to the invisible bras keeping them in place. I guess not all is lost!

Since 9/11, every terrorist attempt on a plane or at an airport has been thwarted by travelers, not the TSA or any other branch of government. Nude body scanners are security theater. The former head of security at Israel’s Tel Aviv airport says they don’t use them because they are not effective. That is what the government wants you to show the TSA employee lucky enough to man the scanner–your naked body.
